We Protect Your Private Data

Your privacy is very important to us, Philip Müller, Tobias Kullmann & Hendrik Müller lila GbR (hereinafter “Lila,” “we,” or “us”). It is our policy to respect your privacy and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding any personal data we may collect about you within our mobile application, “Lila” (the “App”).

Personal data is any information about you that can be used to identify you. This includes information about you as a person (such as name, email address), your devices, and even information about how you use our App (usage data).

In the event that our App contains links to third-party sites and services (e.g., our affiliate partners), please be aware that they have their own privacy policies. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for their privacy practices.

This policy is effective as of October 4, 2025.

1. Information We Collect

The information we collect falls into two categories: “voluntarily provided” information and “automatically collected” information.

1.1. Voluntarily Provided Information

This refers to any information you knowingly and actively provide us when using our services.

• Contact Details: When you create an account or contact us, we may ask for personal information, such as your name and email address.
• User Content (Images, Chats, Searches):
  • Processing of Your Original Images: For all features where you can upload images (e.g., “Room Restyling,” “AI Assistant”), the following applies: The original images you upload are transmitted to our AI service providers for analysis and are deleted from our servers immediately after processing. We do not store the original images.
  • AI-Generated Images (from “Room Restyling”): The new images created by the “Room Restyling” feature are stored exclusively locally on your end device and are not linked to an online account. We do not have access to these images. They will be deleted if you clear the App's data or remove the App itself from your device.
  • Metadata Extracted from Images (from “AI Assistant”): During the analysis of your images by the AI Assistant, we extract metadata (e.g., recognized objects like ‘sofa,’ style attributes like ‘modern,’ colors, the presence of pets, as well as derived style and budget preferences). If you are a registered user, we store this metadata in connection with your account to provide context for the AI Assistant in future interactions and to personalize your recommendations.
  • Chat and Search History (for registered users): If you are a registered user, we store your conversations with the AI Assistant and your search queries. These are linked to your user ID to provide you with a continuous interaction history.

1.2. Automatically Collected Information

This refers to any information automatically sent by your devices in the course of accessing our App.

• Device Data: Device type, operating system.
• Usage Data: Date and time of your access, features you used, clicks on affiliate links, crashes, and other system activity. This data is collected using analytics tools like Firebase and Umami.
• Location Data (approximate): We collect approximate location data (e.g., country and city) derived from your IP address.
• Unique Identifiers (IDs):
  • Anonymous User ID: Each app installation is initially assigned an anonymous, unique ID.
  • Registered User ID: When you create an account, your anonymous ID is linked to your account details to associate your server-side data (e.g., chat history, metadata) with your registered account.
  • Firebase Installation ID / Advertising ID: If you give us your consent, our analytics service, Firebase, collects a unique identifier from your device for marketing and analytics purposes.
